Lukoil plans to sell overseas assets due to Western sanctions

According to Reuters and Bloomberg, Russia's second-largest oil company Lukoil announced the sale of overseas assets on the 27th.

Lukoil said it decided to sell assets due to countries imposing sanctions and will proceed in accordance with the U.S. Treasury's OFAC clearance license.

It is also reviewing some bid proposals.

However, it did not specify which assets would be sold.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump placed Lukoil, Rosneft, etc. on the sanctions list for a ceasefire in Ukraine.
