The consumer price trend in March showed differences in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. According to the Northeast Regional Data Office of the National Data Agency, Daegu's consumer price index rose by 1.9% and Gyeongbuk's by 2.4% compared to the same month last year.

The living price index, which is close to perceived prices, rose by 2.0% in Daegu and 2.9% in Gyeongbuk. On the other hand, the fresh food index in both regions fell compared to the same month last year, showing that the overall price and the movement of shopping cart items were not the same.

Regional prices may appear differently depending on housing costs, transportation costs, and food consumption structure. Households need to look at not only the overall index but also changes in living prices and items.
